ReStore ReHab: Coffee Table

Rehab projects don’t have to be complicated, sometimes all it takes is paint!  We recently found a couple tables and paint from the ReStore to do our own furniture makeover.  Both of these tables are wood making it easy to prep for paint with a quick light sanding.  After a thorough wipe down making sure its free of all dust, it’s time to paint!  For the red table we did an initial coat of white before the red, then gave it a distressed look with more sanding exposing some of the white.  The yellow table was reinforced with a couple screws, sanded, cleaned, and painted.  Both of these pieces were transformed into a furniture feature with minimal cost and effort.  Stop by the Habitat ReStore to start your next rehab project today, you never know what you’re going to find!
